If anyone has any replies or ideas on how to resolve any of my issues so that I may find success in using the bluetooth connection and not the dongle I would really appreciate that because the mouse overall is excellent fit for my hand and I only wish it worked like the Apple Magic Mouse does with the bluetooth. I have had my mouse for just about 2 weeks and I am debating if I will return it for another, or just use the dongle+usb receiver which at this time seems to work well but sucks because it takes up one of my precious USB-C ports and if I had one of the MacBooks that had just one USB-C port it would absolutely be returned because the bluetooth connection is just that poor. Well it did, 100% of the issues resolved. I have not gone there yet but wanted to see if using the Apple USB-C to USB dongle and using the Logitech adapter would change the use and outcome of the mouse. I have read many other reviews and some say exchanging the mouse helped that they just received a shitty one. You use the trackpad to wake the computer and about 1-2 minutes later the mouse will reconnect. When the computer sleeps the mouse immediately becomes irresponsive and disconnects from the MacBook. No scrolling and no movement, still connected via the Bluetooth Smart and the mouse indicates its still paired via the LED under the mouse. Random freezing, even during use while scrolling through a site such as Reddit the mouse will just stop. Once again resorting to the built in trackpad to repair the mouse but most times needing to turn the mouse off and back on before a connection is achieved. When viewing youtube videos the mouse disappears completely from the screen, and the mouse and bluetooth become inoperable.

Making operations or using any of the many system preferences impossible and resorting back to use of the track pad while accessing system preferences. When opening the system preferences menu and working in any of the menus inside system preferences the mouse jumps and disappears all over the screen.

You still see the mouse pointer but the mouse is frantically trying to pair but will not, check the 1,2,3 under the mouse and it is lighting up trying to repair but can not. If you allow the mouse to sit for more than 2 mins it freezes, it is disconnected from the bluetooth and your forced to use the trackpad to go to your bluetooth settings and repair. I have my MacBook running its main screen and I am using the HDMI out adapter to use a 27" external monitor as well, I have found on forums that this can also cause issues, my issues listed below are with and without the monitor connected. My mouse is paired with the computer with connection 1 as displayed by the the LED under the mouse. I have done that and other than pointer speed changed none of the button settings or configurations. Also I understand that to connect this mouse and set it up you use Logitech's app "Logitech Options" as its currently called. The mouse connects initially but here are all the issues I have experienced while connected by Bluetooth. Bluetooth Smart enabled computers as specified by Logitech are MacBooks. The number 1 problem is the use of the Bluetooth and not using the dongle. I have a Magic Mouse 2 but it is so thin and small that it cramps my hand hence I went with what seems to be the leader the MX Master. Heres the issues I have had with the MX Master since using it from day one in December when I got my MacBook. I understand your in the same boat without a USB 3.0 port and stuck with only USB C. Also, since bluetooth pairings are stored on the bluetooth controller itself it means that you will need to re-pair current bluetooth devices that you might have, such as a wireless mouse or keyboard.MX Master problems with Late 2016 MacBook Pro.

Unfortunately Apple has just recently removed the Xcode Hardware IO tools download from their website, but if you end up needing it then I can send you a copy of it. There are two switches on the front, simply press them in so that they point out towards. Near the bottom you will find the processor tray. Begin by disconnecting your Mac Pros power supply and any other devices currently connected your Mac Pro. If that is the case then you will need to manually switch it over. Wifi and Bluetooth Card Installation In a 4,1 or 5,1 Mac Pro. One thing to keep in mind is that for some dongles the Mac will not automatically switch over and use the USB dongle as the primary HCI controller. I also know that a colleague of mine is using the Broadcom BCM20702 for his MacBook and supposedly it works great as well, but I don't have any first hand experience with it.

I am actually using the Cambridge Silicon Radio CSR8510 A10 dongle with my Mac Pro 2010 and it works great, although the range is not very impressive.
